I hate to be the only one to say anything even remotely negative in response, but there seems to me one small problem; there are only so many values and reasons for doing things, like Patagonia, they make a business from a perceived fear of extinction. Sounds very honourable, but there is no competition, and no financial profit to be made in saving the planet, and humanity.
The only way their particular stated objective can be met is by all of humanity collaborating, therefore all must have the same stated goals, and one of the sacrifices that all must make is the forfeiture of all conventional financial profit.
How do we sell the warning to humanity that the very process of profit driven competition amongst ourselves is our undoing?
