I like this article, as it does try to identify a link between capitalism and commodification of people, and I agree completely with the conclusion.

But through a lense of feminism, it can appear unfairly that only men use women in a transactional sense.

In life it cuts both ways. Of course men are also used as sex objects, to be owned, by women (which can be fun, if tiresome after a while), but it should be fairly recognised instead of making men out to be always the baddies.

In my own opinion, capitalism is not at all at odds with feminism, indeed it is the root cause.
