I like this analysis, as it goes in the right direction, but can go a lot further.. Where it stops short is the effect of profit.
We can eliminate most of that effect by replacing the input sources of energy which are currently mostly from extraction, all of which exclusively generate pollution.
We absolutely have to reduce pollution to zero, so we have to move completely from extractive energy to the only other kind, from unlimited source, the sun.
With that done, the whole economy has to change, from promises to pay, to accepted donation.
When we do that we will see massive sections of "Work" as being actually bullshit work, no longer needed.
Imagine, for example, if criminals are paid to no longer commit crime, why have police force for common crime, or associated judicial system?
