I kind of hope banks will "See the light", but I know they probably won’t. As things stand they are competing with crypto rather than working with it. I think in the end crypto will do all, we will discard banks and bank money because they can’t be trusted. We might even end up with everyone having their own personal currency. I wrote a story about how that might work, all linked to Bitcoin. It is called "The ICO of all ICOs". I’ve been keeping an eye on cryptos, looking for one that meets all the criteria of a personal crypto. Uplexa looks promising. But it is too early to tell I think. A specific solar crypto would be cool, but it would be really difficult to try to make it universally accepted. I think any pow crypto incentivises solar by maximising gains when solar is used to mine.
