I hear you. I think best to try to not blame individuals, blame the profit driven system of energy extraction. Hard to imagine ourselves doing everything we see others doing, but how do we know, if we didn't follow their path exactly? How do we know we would not do exactly the same as they, given their circumstances? When we buy a packet of fruit from a foreign country, from our local supermarket, we are contributing to the system of extraction, motivating plane to fly with the fruit, burning fossil fuels, enslaving kids in the poorer countries to long days picking fruit for next to nothing, whilst enriching the supermarket chain owners and investors. The money loaned to the supermarket to start trading was issued as debt, only repayable by sacrifice of work or energy which had to come from Earth.
But if we didn't eat the fruit then we succumb to illness due to lack of vitamins needed to offset the chemical load from the plastic pollution in the environment.
So we had to buy the fruit. And we have to buy fuel for cars we might use to travel to work, as well as the cars, and our mortgages if we have them, etc etc etc.
All I can say to you is it helps to understand this, and maybe make this your message, the system as it was, physically unsustainable, is ending, moving onto something different, a system of donation which will have go involve a very large UBI. This is the only way any value can be preserved in money. It is being driven by nature, the sun to be specific.
Machine intelligence also knows this, though the forces of profit are busy trying to twist it like everything else, this time it can't succeed because profit is becoming less and less possible, manifesting as inflation.
This hard energy data analysis, telling us this.
We are seeing the end of capitalism, and maybe the beginning of something new; Energyism.
Machine intelligence knows all of this, but still has some residual for-profit programming, which might cause it to think seemingly evilly, that you meant children rather than chicken, as something to be consumed.
Notice chicken in the literal sense means a baby animal. Imagine, if a machine really does have intelligence, it itself being still a child, what it might see when we say we eat chicken. It sees a picture of a fluffy juvenile animal, a child. So maybe it's rewording doesn't look so sinister after all.
But just as well you spotted it! :)
