I haven't been following boxing lately, losing interest around the time of Tyson dropping out the first time. I think Tyson was probably one of the only ever boxers who would quite happily have done it for free, he was an enigma in his day.
So I am really surprised to hear Benn jr and Eubanks jr going head to head.
If I remember Eubanks snr was actually a very clever guy, who was very opposed to the sport of boxing himself, and only got involved to make a quick hit-and-run career of it, as it was the only option open to him to make money, he did it very effectively, never losing, and quitting when he got "To the top" in only a few years.
I am amazed he hasn't managed to stop his son from fighting, if they even will be fighting for real, who knows.
Personally I wish it would just disappear, it is plain to me now that it isn't much different from slaves fighting to the death for the amusement and enrichment of their captors. I bet all players involved wish it would disappear too.
I think it will, in a Kardashev Money economy :)
