I hate to say this but the whole concept of debt is a con, actually a violation of physics, given money is energy, this is fundamentally related to, and fully dependent on unsustainable energy extracted from Earth, which is the physical reason for the planet burning, due to the constant conversion of matter and energy to heat, the focus on "carbon" is way off the mark, another con, the real issue is the link between profit and extracted energy. We have to start recognising this and the only way round it, issue of massive stimulus representing the actual economic product generated by energy which itself was donated, nothing asked in return for it by the sun, it is a kind of energy crime to not credit this product which was created with actually a negative temperature relationship, more use of solar energy actually means more temperature reduction, this is so fundamental, the difference between creation and destruction, it seems almost religious, so we see even mainstream science seems reluctant to talk about it, preferring to talk instead about "carbon" when actually what is meant is CO2, which itself is a symptom of the problem, not the cause, the actual cause is the destruction of materials which has to add to temperature rise, upon which profit itself depends.
What a fiendish problem.
But we have to fix it, the only way it can be fixed, or watch the planet continue to self combust, a capital amnesty seems appropriate, where the value remaining in capital despite inflation, is recognised as something that needs to be directed towards the public to enable all to install the necessary solar hydrogen infrastructure for all to become energy independent, and the economy than functioning as kind of sharing economy, the opposite of scarcity enforcement, something that would work far better, adding value to the planet, cooling, rather than constantly removing it, heating.
I commend your story, I think you are starting to see how it all fits in the bigger picture of what is collapsing, and what has to replace it.
Thanks for posting.
