I had similar thoughts this morning, thinking about the old idea that pursuit of pleasure by itself is somehow a sin. It's a sin if we think profit, or coveting is something that needs to be done to have pleasure, but it's harmless to get pleasure from just seeing and appreciating, even immersing in art and beauty, which is all the beauty of nature, the beauty of life.
