I guessed as much, thanks for confirming :) Yup, it is very weird that war is being pushed as the antidote for war, by those who traditionally claimed to be proud pacifists, as well as the old traditional warmongers. I honestly can't see how the energy crisis is going to be fixed without a massive u-turn, with mass admission of guilt. To accept the truth of the solution requires us to discard pretty much all lies, it seems to me.
About RT, I very badly miss it, much more than I was expecting, as I always guessed it would one day be cut. I feel a huge void now since it has actually happened. It offered much more, as well as the known Russian bias, I wouldn't even have called it propaganda, just selective truth, when the subject was on Russia itself. I don't think we ever saw proven manufactured stories. There was a full spectrum of real world news on all things, especially the deterioration of profit driven media, they were careful also to be self critical, and sometimes even critical of Russia. All of it was something really badly needed for sanity. I can't watch our own news media now for more than five or ten minutes before I feel my brain scrambling for air, and have to switch off. The doublespeak has gotten so much worse since RT has gone. What is left of RT on its website, still accessible by VPN, is only a barebones presence of endlessly repeated documentaries and some very selective news updates, mostly on the Ukraine events from their POV. Sorry for rambling replies, I know you probably are with similar view already, but sometimes I think it is worth thinking aloud in responses, for the benefit of others who might follow these dialogs, wishing to gain some insight. Thanks for being there, a woman who seems to understand, something pretty rare lately, in my opinion ;-)
