I guess we are talking about Trump (Apologies Scott, hopefully you don't mind the direction this is going in, in response to your article). Trump comes across as an obnoxious imbecile, remember he is an actor, same as Zelensky. It looks deliberate to me, everyone's wrath is focused on how much of an imbecile he seems to be, no-one notices he went some way towards doing what he said he would do - draining the swamp.
Further, he stands pretty much alone as the only president who never started a war, and the only one who presided over what was arguabky a kind of miracle at the time; the forcing of oil into negative pricing, with the accompanying spike of environmental recovery, the only one ever seen, in terms of coral and fish stocks,. Those things happened when massive stimulus was issued, whilst the dollar itself went up in value, to the dismay of banks, and the whale investors, who almost lost control of the exclusive privilege of enjoying effectively free money.
They claimed free money for the masses was unsustainable, and they would have been right in the days of the Weimar, but we have the data and evidence now that it is completely sustainable, and even becoming necessary, justified by the scaling up of domestic and community solar product, which is unstoppable, in a way that eventual permanent massive stimulus is the only possible solution to all things.
The kids who seem to have been left with the left-over scraps of the colonial feast can see this clearly, and they are just waiting for all of this to bust out, quietly confident. Why does Greta Thunberg look so happy nowadays, even when she is being arrested? Because she knows, they are winning, it seems to me, and weirdly, it can be argued Trump is even on their side,
Time will tell.
It might seem unrelated, but the story of UK airline Flybe going bankrupt (again) yesterday fits perfectly with what we are seeing. It was rescued by free money during covid, but has gone bust again now that the money is being claimed as debt.
All business is becoming impossible at profit, because the energy is being lost from money.
All business for profit depends entirely on mathematically negative energy, that is energy extracted from Earth.
The only way forward, to retain businesses still needed to deliver essential human goods and services, is massive stimulus, which has to come with the use of mathematically positive energy, that is energy added to Earth, the only one being the energy of the sun.
Finally, religion starts to make some sense, backed by science.
It is a shame this hasn't progressed quickly enough to avoid war in Ukraine, and there is a risk that the war going nuclear ends all possibilities of survival of life in Earth.
The thing taking the wind out of the sails of war, regardless of who is in power, forcing the change to a permanent solar backed stimulus economy, is inflation.
Watch that space, I would say.
Russia and China are not immune, they would have to follow suit, if / when the US moves to permanent solar backed stimulus.
