Oooh gotta have a dish-washer. Also a partner would maybe save a blanket or two :)

I got rid of my car, a diesel 4x4 a year ago, about a year after I got rid of the caravan it used to tow, that I used to use to live nearby Engineering clients during projects, and am now down to e-biking, building them now as a kind of hobby.

Its great fun, trialling vehicles we actually built ourselves, I recommend everybody should try it :)

I am also in process of getting rid of the junk in my two bed town apartment (Including the junk from the caravan!), carting crates of it to the local dump about 6 miles away on a trailer attached to the back of my biggest e-bike. The guys at the dump are getting to know me now :)

On availability of energy, I believe we will have no shortage, after we go community hydrogen backed solar, as I am sure we have to.

The fixation we've had over property of all kinds, and the perceived shortage of energy, are down to the business models we practice, it seems to me.

Good that you have savings to fall back on, but those too are a kind of property I don't think we will need or bother much with, when the Kardashev Money starts to be issued :)
