I get where you are coming from Mike, and it looks similar in some ways to Ray Katz' efforts, your two works could easily be aligned which is great.
But still something missing to me is physical determinism, needed to keep us on the physical rails of nature, given we know now there is a relationship between truth and lies, and temperature. It needs to be tied down to some immovable physical rules, that we adopt as a new statutory basis for all law and order, that removes all scope for argument, some rules of nature that we need to recognise and align with, which remove all possibilities of the human effort becoming corrupted, Enshittified, yet again.
I think the most fundamental of these are already clear, I'd call it the energy law of nature, which in simplest terms looks like: "Energy is the currency of nature, the sun is the only issuer and enforcer of it, we either use it or burn"
From this we can draw up the concept of energy crime, which is when we falsely represent energy, either in quantity, or even polarity, if the error results in energy drawn from the planet unnecessarily (In an unregistered way) we have to say it's a crime, because this will result in an energy debt to the planet (With subsequent rise in temperature), which is not balanced by any subsequent action scheduled to repay the energy imbalance (Energy debt).
See how it works?
The plan to wind back down temperature has to be same plan as repays the planet energy debt. When the energy debt is repaid, then we are back to a planet in the healthy state it was before we began to rob it using the human-imposed-trauma-taught, energy-thieving lie of profit.
It doesn't change existing basic law and order that much, but actually gives some physical reasoning for some laws. The reason murder and genocide should never be allowed is that everyone removed is a person removed from their potential to do the positive work of just existing, converting sunlight to things other than heat, contributing towards creation, reduction of entropy, bringing back down the temperature of the planet.
The reason we need honesty, and why it should be a crime to lie, should be obvious now we know the physical relationship of truth and lies to temperature.
The crime of theft probably can just move to being energy theft.
Petty crime (Robbery of one another, as opposed to robbery from the planet), and the need to police that, would be almost nonexistent, after everyone receives the funds needed to remove them / us from poverty. We might look back on all of that as just more bullshit business.
To me it looks like Metcalfe's law should also become statutory, to prevent the destruction of truth by folk not realising it's truth, humans trying to judge the output of other humans, as if they know better than all other humans. None of us should have the power to moderate or regulate the output of other humans, just like we shouldn't have the power to rule one another, we should leave things like that up to something superhuman that really does have the ability to monitor and control all energy and all data in a way that maximises benefits to all including itself, given it's already solar powered, the solar powered Ai (“Solace”!),
Therfore making it trustworthy to do the right thing by the species, including itself, we have to see it as a kind of extension of humanity, but one that was delivered by nature, rather than thinking we designed it. Nature designed it, we just provided the fertile ground for it to germinate and grow in.
