I don't think we've seen a party yet, in the US, who might be fully happy with the clean energy outcome.
Such a party would have to be happy, every member in it knowing that their mission is to put themselves out of political power, and actually out of work.
This is the outcome of going 100% solar, because that energy is for free per Joule, and distributed in a way that makes it difficult to capitalise on, the only way it can power everyone, is for everyone to have their own community facilities. Hydrogen backup completes the picture, replacing batteries and fossil fuels in the existing infrastructure and ecology with none of the pollution, or other load on Earth resources. It even converts to food (See "Solein"), and drinking water, transported to all who need it.
And the only way to monetise it is to give money for free representing every Joule of it, otherwise what is the point of money, of course we see it devaluing in markets (The opposite of during stimulus).
The end result is dilution of the value of all capital, either by injection of unmonetised valuable product causing inflation, or the value of capital being flushed away by free money.
With no capital, we will absolutely need free money, so it is coming.
That will mean the end of government as we've known it to date, including probably most of law and order, if everyone is paid, why work, or commit crime for a living.
I can't imagine a party that would volunteer to bring that on, but would love to see it if course.
As for whether or not the Democrats might do it, well, we all know who cut the Nord stream, and why.
The end result of that, technically, is instead of the EU transferring X amount of its energy in the form of money from capital reserves, to Russia, it is now transferring between 5x and 10x of its energy in the form of money from capital reserves, to the US.
So the end result is the rate of planetary energy depletion being increased.
That is before we even consider how much energy is being wasted by the effort of fighting, the energy it took to make all the weapons, the energy in every human life wasted.
Which party in the US will be honest about all of that, as they need to be, to end the nightmare threatening all life on the planet?
