I don't know if you've read any of Indi. ca's thoughts on this. You should, if you have not yet. The platform doesn't help us with this, it doesn't help remove social bubbles it just makes them worse like any profit driven platform (I did a technical story why this is, and why it always leads to atrocity. It helps clarify what the Western establishment has wrong about both Russia and Palestine / Gaza. I think it's a much more useful comparison, to get what we know about both things right.
Anyhow, since we last had exchange, the work I've been doing to trace the global energy problem has come to a conclusion. The culprit that we need to identify, the systemic headless monster driving us to atrocity and the relentless extraction of energy from the planet is profit.
What we see, when we compare with things like LLMs, is an emergent property which fits all the definitions of having a life of its own, with the motive of simply ending all life.
I won't go on here, it's a long story that I guess you haven't seen due to the effects of it, to suppress all knowledge of it.
There is a way we could halt what is happening in Palestine, and to the planet almost instantly. But it's big, would require all governments to collaborate, in a way that the governments would be agreeing to hand over all political power to their people.
I can't see that happening but will say it anyway: They could announce that it's become apparent profit is an energy con, always has been, always will be, no way around that, so there has been a decision made to remove all possibilities of, and all need for profit, the only way we can, by starting to issue money to reflect the enetgy coming in from the sun. This means free money for all people including the people in prisons, and their crimes for profit are forgiven.
Yiup sounds crazy, but craziest of all, this is the only way to stop the profit monster in its tracks.
If we don't do it, we carry on heading towards the modern version of armaggedon.
The fires we saw this year are nothing to what we will see next year.
