I don't follow the logic of this.
If the input is carbon pollutive waste, which comes at least partly from previous plastics creation, then the new product requires the previous plastics creation to sustain it. Therefore it solves no problems, just bakes them in, sustaining them.
This is the issue I see across the board of solutions suggested for all the environmental problems, always we come up with businesses to manage symptoms, and its always for profit, because business cant be made of actually fixing problems (removing all possibility of profit), we always look for ways to just manage symptoms instead of fixing problems at source.
And look, trace exactly what is profit - its an energy lie that constantly robs the planet of energy. It goes directly to temperature rise! The only reason we seem to be stuck on it is that it was maybe traumatised into us a long time ago, but now it is no longer necessary, we don't need profit, because the energy we get via money could easily come from the sun, instead of extracted from the planet.
This is why I argue we need solar indexed stimulus, and suggest we can turn increasing entropy around to decreasing entropy by connecting all revenue flows to be sourced from solar energy instead of extracted energy.
Increasing entropy is what we are measuring with temperature btw, its another profit driven lie that there is any blanket effect in the atmosphere, because the atmosphere is adiabatic, there can be no blanket effect that would affect temperature measurements.
With solar indexed stimulus we would be guaranteeing everyone at least the energy we each need to metabolise to live, without having to continue in the system of energy slavery that we currently live in, and have lived in for all of known history..
On plastics, there is also plastics from hydrogen, which would be fully recyclable, since hydrogen also converts to human consumable food, and if it was all created using solar, then it is all reversal of entropy.
I summarise the reasons why all this is true in an E-book, giving the main outcome of seven years of independent research carried out on what I see is a global energy problem, climate is just one part of it, a symptom, the real issue is energy, especially the availability of it to monetise.
