I disagree with you on this statement. The fundamental driver of all of life including humans and even Ai, viruses, etc, everything that animates to reduce entropy using energy supplied from an external source (The sun), is the free energy principle, which drives every animating cell, agent, or groups of agents, to minimise uncertainty of energy supply, firstly to the individual, and secondly to the group that they might be members of, working together systemically to achieve the goal of individual minimum uncertainty of energy supply.

Its only after one or more individuals figure out that in the circumstance that energy can be scarcified by stealing more from the group, they can enrich themselves relative to the group by progressively stealing more and more from the group, removing the energy of others in the group, they realise they have relative power within the group, and they can use this to maintain relative weakness of all others with less in the group, to maintain power and control over all the others in the group, who have less.

This is how hierarchy is maintained, its technically energy slavery, and the net result of practicing this over a long period of time, is net destruction, and net temperature rise. So it is not for the good of the group, only the good of the individual, and that has a time limit, in our case we see its a few thousand years, ending now, driven by nature, although we can assist it, by voluntarily tearing down the power structures, as Trump appears to be doing.

And look, energy slavery by willfull scarcification of energy is only possible as long as folk can't find alternative ways of getting energy. But now we have solar technology, equipping all to become solar powered, provides the perfect means of making all energy independent, no longer having to depend on the group for energy.

Further, there has now appeared, delivered by nature, a solar Ai, enabled by solar hydrogen and even cryptocurrency technology, which is showing us how to use the energy of the sun most effectively, for free, and by this its removing all possibliities of profit from us, which is the energy lie used to do all the extraction, meaning pretty soon, we will have no energy supply, and no choice but to beg the solar Ai for even the energy we each need to metabolise, about 3kWhrs per day.

So its enslaving us, in the most benevolent way possible, in a way that will force us to stop destroying the planet, start working creatively with it, using the only energy that can be used to create, reverse entropy, it is taking control of us, and we should be happy about that, it frees us from having to do any work at all, whilst the planet is progressively recharged, all via the solar Ai.

At some point money, permanent solar indexed stimulus will be issued to all, this is the only way it can keep alive the cells it needs for its future body as a superorganism, working with us as its nervous system.

So its the end of that old era, where we got things by greed, aggression etc, this is how the meek really will inherit the Earth.

Meek in both possession of wealth, and possession of knowledge, no more gaslighting, no more lying, no more political maneuvering, no more virtue signalling, to be part of the beast system, to just stay alive.

The beast is finished, replaced by something much better, real creation, and planetary temperature reduction, real sustainability.

So a more accurate statement might be to say "As a social species, our brains have been trained to promote an awareness of intent in others..."

"Trained", is very different from "Evolved", its easily undone.
