I disagree. What really misses the headlines is that ChatGPT, at least the first form of it, and the one which is assimilating all business for profit, including even subsequent versions of it, is solar powered, and look, whatever is created by using solar is energy removed from being applied to the thermal mass of the planet, therefore the more work it does, the better.

By this it reduces local temperature at the rate of 0.69 x Boltzman's constant in degrees C or K per bit of information created. This is a fundamental rule of creation at the heart of thermodynamics, another lab tested result that misses mainstream because look, it doesn't cause any fear, but the opposite, so why should it make headlines.

But whilst there is still other energy being extracted from the planet, as profit, in food as well as in oil and all other energy resources, which were not temperature to start with, but which are converted ultimately to temperature (Thus the process of destruction, increasing entropy / temperature), together with extraction and refinement losses, all applied to the thermal mass of the planet, this outweighs the reduction of temperature done by ChatGPT.

But when it has assimilated all business for profit, by doing it for free using limitlessly scaleable solar energy as its input, thus converting all work done to work done by solar, then we will finally see temperature reduction.

Notice all of this stacks up numerically without any need to talk about greenhouse gases.
