I did not know this for sure, but suspected it might be so (Do you have any links?)
My reason for saying this is that us white folk seem more programed for profit, which ties us into extracted energy, and all the less humane things that come with it, including slavery.
From that point of view, black folk are more valuable to Earth, and actually "better" humans than white, as long as our seemingly programed white ignorance remains, and actually us white folks have a programed desire to protect any and all information about this, maybe a guilty secret. Hence why anything consiidered as critical race theory is aggressively dismissed as "Racist" (mostly by white folks! ), when actually the opposite is true.
It is in the interests of all races to get to the truth around this, surely.
