I can’t see the reasoning for thinking there has to be an “End game”, though I agree being elite right now is probably more worry than joy.

The number of people being added to the world needs to always be compared with the number being taken out of it, to draw any conclusions about population growth.

Similarly, our use of the true wealth added to Earth from the only true source of it, the sun, should be taken into account in all considerations of wealth.

When we do that, we see things might not be so bad after all, maybe no end game needed.
