I can't see nuclear as at all sustainable. At the end of the day, all use of energy by extraction is unsustainable, where the extraction is not from something we created firstly (From solar), it has to create pollution, and nuclear is just another form of extraction from things we didn't first create from solar, thus creating pollution.

The reason solar is fundamentally different, is that it is energy pushed to us from an external donor, the only source of energy which comes to us with no extraction, and when we put it to use, adds to the Joules of energy already on Earth.

IMHO we all of us should be looking now for how to fit in with what has to come next; a kind of solar revolution which is unstoppable, due to it coming with inflation which is unstoppable, until money starts to "Go with the flow" of the free Joules now coming in from the sun, scaling up, like the energy flow in a tree which has just sprouted its first leaves.
