I can't really see the point of this article, like you point out, the problem is fixed, it is no longer illegal to be gay.
Now we need to move on to fixing the problems of climate, covid, poverty, crime, war, racism, sexism, fascism, immigration, and many many more. The common culprit behind them all, in the process of wiping us out as a species, is the practice of profit, so that is what we should be focusing on ending, one way or another.
