I bet you hate Systems Engineers, if you think everyone should try and stay within what is our "remit" :)
After all what, of anything we know, was never science?
Why not question the effect commoditisation has had on things including even education.
Its the commoditisation of education that has caused everybody to be pigeonholed into specialisms, preventing us from thinking systemically enough to question the system, until what is arguably a specialisation itself of formal Systems Engineering, not very many years ago.
All the drugs sold for profit in the name of science, all the medical services becoming removed from only those "deserving" them, the majority soon to have none of it, I think that should be more important to highlight, rather than jumping on the bandwagon to kick science for daring to question or get involved in whatever it is you / we yourselves might do for energy profit. That would be a much more useful analysis, I think :)
