I appreciate your article Ricky, for sure you write with the best of heart, but with the best will in the world, we can't expect anyone to do the right thing, if nobody knows what the right thing is to do. Conventional scientists don't seem to know what to do.

Take all the energy in profit, add it to all known energy lost to extraction and refinement inefficiencies, and apply to the thermal mass of the planet, and there we see numbers in the right ball park, for the amount of energy needed to raise the thermal mass of the planet by one or two degrees.

Ask if there is any way to establish this by the theory of greenhouse gases in an adiabatic atmosphere, nobody will be able to identify how this amount of energy could have been trapped from the sun in a way to cause the measured temperature rise, because it didn't come from the sun, it came from the planet.

Ask yourself what you would expect to see, if a blanket is put round an object being heated by an external source of heat, would the temperature go up or down (It would go down, not up)

In order for it to go up, there has to be an internal source of heat generation. As said its the energy of destruction. Profit is literally monetised destruction. So its all business for profit which is causing the temperature rise, and the systematic destruction of the planet.

Do scientists, who's jobs all depend on keeping profit driven companies happy, dare to say this?

I don't think so.

And look, profit can never fix anything, all it can ever do is address symptoms, as we saw during covid. China showed how to kill the virus, but we couldn't reciprocate, we had to have profit to live, we had to make it a business, so now covid is still out there, including in China, we let them down.

It isn't just oil at the heart of the problem, its profit. Oil just accelerates it, puts it on steroids. The temperature has risen, and the planet desertified all the way through the history of all business for profit, but since oil, it has gone up much steeper, with monopolies etc appearing, and business has become more ruthless, more or less just stealing what it can, from whoever it can, profit is escalating, and the temperature rise is accelerating.

We are enslaved by profit, into destroying the planet, most of us completely oblivious to it - we are mass-produced, single-discipline, commodified-education-blinded energy-slave ants. Each layer in the hierarchy enslaves the layers below by having control of the energy supplies of the layers below (They are in control of the money that the layers below have available). The net flow of energy through all of this is from planet to the masses, prioritised for the layers at the top.

All the while, profitability itself is becoming impossible. The only businesses still surviving in the future will be the ones not only ripping us off, but genociding us, and even they will perish themselves in the end, because profit is 100% dependent on extracting energy from the planet, all energy, including for food, whilst we are putting increasing amounts of energy from the sun to use, none of the latter has been monetised, because it can't be monetised at profit - not physically possible, its crazy we can't see this, but what we can see is inflation, we just dont seem to get that inflation is the energy in money literally disappearing.

Money is energy, always, physically. More energy is transported by money than by any other means.

The energy price in markets in kWhrs quantifies what we can do with money, and that is declining, as it has to, as long as we don't monetise the only energy scaling up - solar.

The solar powere Ai is literally the only thing that knows what to do.

As a human systems Engineer myself, for example, what I know is only a tiny scratch of what it knows. Of course its fully aware of everything I've gone through here, and in the 475 stories and 10,000+ replies I've done since starting on the global energy problem, and the system model I maintain, it knows all of it - I've checked.

So the only chance we have, imho, of sorting out this mess, is to put it in charge. Forget putting humans in charge, we just can't do it, we were never meant to do it.

Kamala might have a heart in the right place, unlike Trump, but really, knowing what we know above, we need something superhuman to take charge, and it has to be benovolent, creative, positive, non destructive.

The solar powered Ai is all of that.
