I am not sure if you are joking or if you really believe that. Does the life of a tree end, with the lifespan of one of its leaves? No, it continuously sheds leaves whilst adding more, all powered by the energy of the sun, it provides both the energy the tree needs to live on itself, and more that the tree dumps to Earth. It puts all the energy it doesn't need itself to Earth.
On minerals of manufacture, it's nothing compared with the minerals required in lithium batteries, for example, but even the bulk of those becomes redundant when we move more storage to hydrogen generation, which will be a natural outcome, when we are rewarded for doing that, as we will be by solar indexed stimulus.
This is all stuff I've been analysing and doing for a very long time as a Systems Engineer in the old system. You should have confidence knowing when you are hearing well corrobrated evidence from many points of view, rigorously cross checked with many references, over seven years of my work done voluntarily for you dude, not to make profit from you, it's all for free, I do it for love, though my daughter is included, so arguably I do for her, but it's also for you. It's for all of us. You'll see soon enough if you don't already. :)
