I am not so sure we really do live longer than any other humans in history, I can't help wondering why or how the biblical character of Noah for example was reputed to have lived for 500 years before he even started creating the arc, and then to 900 years by the time it was completed and used. It seems to me there must have been something very different in those days, something that happened since, that we lost all records of, maybe something we are not particularly proud of, an event that changed everything for all humans, from near immortality, to the mortality we know now. I suspect that might have something to do with slavery. Did we really still have slavery in the days of Noah? I am not so sure, but it seems energy slavery is what we've had in the known history of humans, and this really shortens life, preventing cures for problems, because curing something, anything, removes all possibilities of profiting by it. Profit seems to be something dependent on having problems to manage, to exist, thereby perpetuating said problems. Isn't that strange?
