I am not so sold on the idea that we are living in a simulation, at least not one we could understand by logic alone. I think we need to have some kind of spiritual element to understand energy (The life force of all things), and how we actually need to use it. I think maybe seeing something like that is what is needed in order for us to see the way forward. We seem to have reached a point where our consistent misuse of energy (All energy obtained from materials) has been acceptable to date, but now has to change, and in order to understand that, we might need some spirituality to help us understand that it isn't something we can grab / dig up and possess for ourselves, it is something donated that we have to share with all.

When we get our heads around that, the way out looks pretty cool, I think.
