I am not following your logic there, how exactly heat forms a mechanism stopping nutrients coming out of a tree, but if you prefer to believe maybe that the tree dissipates all the energy it receives from the sun that it doesn't need for itself as heat, rather than conduct it to Earth as nutrients, then I guess the outcome on global warming is different in your mind, and you might well be a believer in something like maybe Geo-Engineering one day.

Personaly I think Geo-Engineering is the worst thing humanity could/will ever do. The biggest mistake we could ever make, is to dare to interfere with the energy lived on by all of nature.

I don't have evidence for that, but I hope I never witll.

The good thing is, we both know instinctively that there is a lot of confusion over how a tree works. I think as long as we have that uncertainty, there is some hope that we will figure it out, and it won't be bad news when we do.
