I am inclined to agree with you, and Julia, though in my opinion Ukranian resistance is futile, it will end soon with Putin holding all the aces. Not accepting that, is costing more lives, and more energy, and causing more pollution.
The most useful thing anyone can do now is monitor the consumption, pollution, and accompanying climate response. We need to get a handle on the actual environmental damage being done by war.
