I am in agreement with J Murdoch, to me there is a risk naming ouselves as sane (or woke), or something similar can become a stick to be beaten with.
The reason I think this, is that in truth most of us are still misinformed about the fundamentals. That is the only thing that needs to be shown by anyone intending to ridicule folk trying tovdo the right thing with the best of intentions.
Lilke you say, we are those who would be inclined to try to get ourselves and everyone out of the burning asylum, but to do that, we have to know where the door is, and unfortunately most of us don't, it seems to me, and all the insane (or the evil) need to do is expose that, and say something like "Look who is calling themselves sane".
We should maybe acknowledge we are on a learning path, and certain things coming out are surprising, to say the least, most of us would probably think it is insane to claim that recent money spent on the public by governments, is actually not debt owed by people at all, but actually credit owed to people, for solar energy put to use and never monetiised, and in fact, governments demanding repayment of monies issued, whilst accusing others of "Weaponising energy" are actually themselves the ones who are weaponising energy, unwittingly or otherwise, by falsely interrpreting and presenting power utilities data as the whole story of what power is actually being used and put to use, therefore a completely distorted piicture of what is really going on, the abuse of energy of nature, by using it, and never admitting we are using it, and never crediting it with its true value.
The average well-meaning scientist and green protestor is not even slightly aware that solar energy is mathematically positive, whilst all energy that can be obtained from Earth is mathematically negative, therefore everything that can be derived from any energy not from solar comes at a cost, whereas everything derived from solar is positive, itself the opposite of cost, therefore money issued as solar product can never be a cost, it can only ever be a credit, hence why our governments believe, maybe with the best of intention, that what they are claiming is something we owe to them, when in fact it is they who owe us more of what we were given, and that only by such admission, and issue of such further funds, can we have any hope of fixing inflation, or indeed the fundamental problem.
In truth, the fundamental changes happening are beyond most people's comprehension, even the cleverest of scientists, some of whom claim this is some kind of dream, because it destroys the business they might be working in, like utilities energy supply, which seems to be coming to an end.
In other words, most of us are overwhelmed by the enormity of the actual change happening, driven by nature, to such an extent that it feels like we are living in a kind of Alice in Wonderlamd reality, where many of the old rules are reversed, what used to be called debt is now credit, and energy we thought was good, like wind, and geothermal, and even hydro, is not so good relative to solar, and so on.
Sorry I don't even know a way to say this, without sounding insane.
