On money, maybe it is fair to say it has been whatever we made it.

I can't quite follow your explanation of how money is created, to me there seems a lot of language around money and economics which is designed to confuse logic, including even the logic of experts involved in it, like a really complex blindfolded aerial acrobatic, or underwater maneuver, which finishes with the performer having no idea which way is up or down, but they think they do.

My own understanding is just that money is issued on creation of debt - someone makes a promise to pay, and then the money issuers create about ten times that amount of money (The inverse of whatever fractional reserve applies to the particular bank who obtained the promise to pay, usually about 10%).

To me it all equates to energy, the global debt of humanity actually is an energy deficit to our planet, since all energy we ever used used was taken, by extraction, from stores (Capital) on Earth, until we started using solar. Every promise to pay is a promise to extract (Mostly by extraction from materials) from energies created on Earth. The Money-fuel tree story gives a link to the Grand Energy Ponzi story.

To be honest, I think the events of what happened in the US when 4Tn was issued per month in the US are very revealing, they really helped cut out a whole stack of misinformation about the simplest function of money, to empower.

Oil prices went negative, the only time ever. The environment made a brief spike of recovery, the only time ever. Shares in bankrupt but still loved companies soared, the only time ever. The law in the US was changed to allow that to continue, and companies like Hertz were rescued by donated money thrown at their shares. People were trading using the Robinhood app, with free money. Warren Buffet quit the markets claiming "Something had gone wrong with money", and an army of whale investors quit with him. And all the while the dollar went up, and the king of capital; gold, languished.

What was happening was ordinary people exercising pure fine grained democracy, voting with their freely donated money. They didn't want gold, as that is a kind of saving, who needs savings with ubiquitous free money. They certainly didn't want oil.

Governments don't really need to tax any longer, they can enjoy the free money also, and to some extent they do, without making it obvious. Are they really going to chase every student for their debt paid for their education? I think not, much easier to just quietly generate a new hidden stream of money generation, to cover whatever might have been defined as losses previously.

Also defunding the police doesn't look so crazy with free money, why bother committing crime, with free money, so why have crime prevention.

In fact why do any bullshit industry or work at all, why not have all important things done by people who actually want to do, and would even do for nothing, if they didn't need to be paid?

I think it is very indicative we never hear this talked about, and yet it was so significant. It is also interesting that the man who made it happen, idiot though he seems to be, was Trump, and look, now he is effectively cancelled.

I think he annoyed the money elites, he is a loose cannon, that is the real reason he fell out of favour, intentionally or unintentionally, he almost blew their secret that there is no need for scarcity, and the only reason anyone wants to retain the value in capital, is those in power trying to retain their grip of power, wielding their capital, pumping and dumping and so on. They really do not want to empower ordinary people, only themselves, but nature is forcing their hand, by forcing them to choose between the value of free money-as-sunlight, or the value of nothing.

It is plain to me how we can justify the wealth of free money physically, since now we are in receipt of an awful lot of onoging, constantly scaling up, free Joules of energy, pushed to us from the sun, no extraction needed.
