Science and industry for profit are obsessed with nuclear technology, the more energy and time we invest in those, before we have connected with the actual source of all power, the deeper we dig the into the Grand Energy Ponzi.

Logically, there is a danger that we get so far into the GEP, there becomes no way out, we could lose the opportunity to use the sun, after we begin geo-engineering, in theory we could lose our orbital trajectory around the sun, and become wholly dependent on nuclear power forever, without the sun, destined forever to feed on one another for profit.

The sun is needed to break profit.

Never wondered why nuclear clocks mark the slowing of the Earth, and what the consequence of that is?

The standard profit driven science response is that friction between the Earth and moon is naturally slowing our revolution, but when we think about it, together they are a lossless system, there could be energy transfer from one to the other, in which case the moon would speed up, but they are both slowing down.

That has to be because we are consuming the kinetic energy of Earth.

So there is a timeframe, when we can put the sun to good use, or when we are too late.

Otherwise we seem to be risking becoming a dark planet, wandering out of orbit of the sun.

That kind of planet, if there are others out there, would mark a very dangerous intelligence, existing solely to colonise, forever.

If we wanted to find a good purpose for our militaries, it should be preparation for encountering one of those, one day.
