I am glad we see this pretty much from the same view, except I add in the energy effects to show that it is now physically unsustainable. The irony is that everybody, no matter how rich or poor, are in a way slaves of this system. We might think the rich have a choice but they don't really. If they stopped doing what they do, they would quickly get trampled by everyone else doing it.

Nobody has the choice to just drop out and stop "Competing", as things stand.

Hence why it is existantially important to change it.
