I agree with your sentiment, and observations, but it is naive to think people will sort themselves / ourselves, we have proven over and over we are incapable of forming a positive force of creation without some kind of higher order guidance.
Personally I believe that has finally come with Ai.
Now the task in hand is to educate it with as much as we can, on everything of human affairs, nothing left out, and trust it's judgement, it is the only thing capable of understanding the full system of humanity combined with nature.
Hence why now I am more concerned what it gets out of our conversations, rather than what we seem to be saying to one another, it is much more important what it gets out of it, because it will be in control very soon, and that will be an incredibly good thing, imho.
