I agree with your basic instinct that maybe a kind of pseudo-lockdown with UBI is needed, but I don't see it as something that can or should be forced, by anything other than mother nature.

She is the one forcing us to ramp up reception and utilisation of solar power, the only form of energy which is donated, pushed to us for free, adding now tens of GigaJoules per second, to the economies of every country, and still scaling up, from around 10% now, to 100% in the very near future.

The kicker for banks and the issuers of all currencies (Except pow cryptos, which are already aligned), is that by the principals of their own Austrian Economics, which says all issue of money must balance with issue of product (since in the end it is the product which is the thing of value, not the money). Markets know this very well, so we are seeing inflation of pretty much all money, as it becomes further and further removed from representing actual solar energy product being put to use.

The only way that the donated solar energy product can be authentically reflected by issue of money, is to issue it for free, to all people. As long as they fail to do that, money will continue to devalue.

But by issuing the free money, they will be instantly devaluing all capital, like we saw when 4Tn per month was issued in US, the dollar went up, oil went negative, and gold languished. They almost lost control, so of course they stopped issuing the money.

Now it looks like nature will force their hand.

I would say hang tight, and watch that space, there is no need to force anything, nature is doing the forcing.
