I agree with you, sort of, but wouldn't stop there. You are describing the same mechanism as drives a wedge between every division or tribe in humanity, it can be racial, religion, geographical, ideological, rich / poor, young vs old, you name it, this thing is destroying us because whilst we fight, the planet burns.
Remember also what most algos are designed for, it is about making profit, nothing more. The algos learn what maximises profit, and follow what they learned. The platforms makemost profit when we are fighting, dying, generally terrified of this or that, it lives on fear. Even the current platform is no different, if we question profit in our posts, they are demoted, rather than promoted. No-one wants to hear profit is the culprit, and no-one wants to say it, but it is the systemic driver behind every atrocity, all hatred, all dishonesty, even directly linked to extracting energy from the planet, which is directly physically linked with temperature rise, which is exponentially linked with incidence of fires. it is literally physically killing us, lining us up for a grand finale of a final catastrophic global burning, and no-one dares talk about it.
