I agree with you completely. In fact we might recognise sometime that the standard solution for any problem is to pour weapons in, every problem sorts itself eventually when enough weapons are poured in, the problem kind of burns itself out, like cauterising a wound, then we can move onto the next problem and if there isn’t any, create some.
We were vaguely seeing it play out in Yemen, before we got distracted by it now happening to white people in Ukraine.
Isn’t it insane, to add weapons to any situation where people are deadly intent on killing one another, even arguing those weapons are to "Help" them?
Maybe we are now seeing the modern manifestation of gladitorial entertainment; if it isn’t interestiing enough to watch poorer folk killing one another by the few with rudimentary weapons, spice things up with an injection of some more exotic killing machines, then we’ll see some more action, much more entertaining, and hey, we’ll always end up with someone to charge for the weapons.
