I agree with you and I am a boomer, but I saw this coming a number of years ago, and have since been working to try to turn my business experience around, to affect change. I have an 18 year old daughter, for whom, she and her age group, the world has to change.
I see our current predicament as being down to a few leading historical figures, who were not intelligent enough to be in power, but were in power. They changed our system to one of greed, and one that paved the path towards others with the same, or worse qualities to follow, in power.
If the greedy had not had the power to change the world, things might have been different now but we are where we are, so now drastic changes are needed to put things right.
I believe nature is now forcing our hand, we do not have a choice, even those in power, now nature is about to remove their power, putting it back in the hands of the vast majority, who can see the greed.
I don’t believe any violent uprising is needed, or even possible, and besides, that would solve nothing, such a thing would be the same moral crimes being repeated by following generations.
Personally I believe those currently in power have the choice of seeing how nature works, and going with it, minimising the damage to everyone else, or see their world crumble around them. I hate to say it, but millions more could die at their hands before nature has its way, as things stand.
The most disturbing part for me is realising there are a tiny minority who would end the world, before giving up their power.
So I find myself now here in Medium, using my Systems Engineering, and Engineering technical skills, gained at the cutting edge in that greedy world, to show technically how we could make things much easier, if folk could just see through their greed, the world of tomorrow is not one of limited possibilities but the opposite.
The Earth’s power has run out, and they don’t seem to realise it.
Now we must turn to the only alternative, the power of the sun, that powers all of nature with no pollution. We just need to know how to use it.
it is coming, by nature, and our money system has to, and is changing, but it could be so much quicker and easier if those in power could see the inevitability of our future, wealth for all, not just some, and no need at all for millions, if not even billions more to die. It would be much better, and easier for all of us, if they could assist in the changes nature is making.

Our financial debt is actually an energy debt to our planet.

That is the thing that needs to be put right, and will be put right, with our resistance or not.

We are like a fledgling species being born, being weaned off the energy of the Earth.

We could be born strongest, by being willing to be born, or born weak, or even perish as a species if not.

Being stronger as a united species is now much more important than being strong as individuals. Now we need to collabrate as a species to enjoy the new world. Real strength is doing what we can to enable that, I believe, rather than doing what we can to derail it, as those in power currently seem intent on doing, at least in the West.
