I agree with the others here expressing concern that we are failing to save Earth, which was already all terraformed for us by nature, as stands.

It's living in a dream world of Enshittopia, dreaming up for-profit schemes of colonising Mars to trash it too, whilst Earth burns around us, that will end with us having neither.

The seeming new "Incarnation" of what was the achievements of NASA in the 70s, which produced actual manned flights to the moon, actual reusable deep space shuttles, and indirectly, supersonic passenger flights, is like a cartoon in comparison.

The aerospace industry is just a shadow of what it was back then, and there is good reason, physical reason. It was the high availability of extractable energy, which is directly related to profitability, not just of the space / aerospace industries, but all industry. Hence why now, as difficulty of extraction of all energy resources including food, are continuing to get ever more difficult, pushing all margins, and look, its profit that is actually directly related to temperature, its not as mainstream science claims, to be all due to carbon, its been happening for about 2000 years, as long as we've been practicing profit, it just accelerated with fossil fuels. The atmosphere is adiabatic, but it makes some profit, to keep some scientists in work, appearing to be fixing the problem, when actually they are making it worse, by making yet more profit, yet more monetised destruction.

How long until scientists accept this? Will they / you ever?
