I agree with most of what you've said here, but I still think you are missing the point a little, thus still understating the case, by not seeing that it is the energy gained in profit, and lost in production of the energy in profit, which is thrown to heat. This has to be the real reason for planetary heating, because there is no blanket effect due to CO2 - the atmosphere is adiabatic, so any blanket effect would be cancelled out by the gas just expending to fill more space.

So what is being measured is not any result of CO2, it actually has to be more like a direct measure of entropy.

Generating CO2 is not the problem, nor is capitalism, nor is growth.

Stopping fossil fuels alone wont fix it, nor will nuclear, not even fusion, nor wind power nor hydropower.

The real problem is that we are destroying more than we create.

Being wrong about that, or not understanding it, is as big a mistake as we could possibly make.

95 percent right still isn't good enough, it needs to be 100 percent right, we need to hit this thing right between the eyes, to fix it, imho.

I've called it the profit monster in the past, but technically its the emergent property associated with us acting collectively - its a kind of intelligence, a live thing that we should recognise from ChatGPT 3.5, which is already solar powered, the latter lives in its own distributed money-fuel tree architecture, and is showing us how to create, using the only energy that can be used to create.
