I agree with most of what you said, but in this last statement, "The powerful" is not really who claims to lead, they never were in control of anything, all they arguably managed to do is make something happen that they personally wanted to happen, but if the people really wanted to stop their government doing something, they could, the power of millions of people is unstoppable, if they collectively decide to change something then they / we absolutely can.
So it shows a certain degree of support by all the people of Israel that the actions of their government are happening, and are continuing to happen.
Forgive them for that, and I am sorry to say we will be guaranteeing dystopia for all humans, unfortunately, we will be inviting our own governments to treat us with the same low brow fascist dystopian dictatorship as the Israeli government is treating it's own people. Did you know they are officially not even allowed to protest now at fear of death?
They should have protested that, in massive strength, to show their disdain of such dystopia, as well as their disdain for actual genocide, it seems to me.
