I agree with Joe.

Something very radically different is needed, more than just a change of government. The situation was most succinctly put in another of your articles Umair, the one where you pointed out the biggest and most lucrative investment ever is the end of the world. Of course we should get angry about that. But the solution, though radical, need not involve violence. At least not against humans.

There are technical developments afoot which are making the required change, but could do with being publicised more.
