I agree with everything you've written here, and believe it is really important also to educate, on the details of what needs to be done technically, to bring about the "win-win" world that we know is possible, the onlly route to survival and sustainability.
In essence, to end emissions, we must connect to the live energy of the sun for 100% of our energy needs, with no further delay, but the way our incompatible capital / stored energy based economy and subsequent mindset works, most folk don't seem to be able to see this, or even believe it is possible.
I find myself working to do what I can towards that end.

I am not sure this is even compatible with the conventional educational establishment, as there are implications which also affect the educational establishment itself, so it looks like it has to be an independent, collaborative, non-profit effort.
I am optimistic we will very soon see some big changes, which will lead to the required end result.
