I agree with almost everything you’ve said here, except one or two details.
Complexity isnt a driver of anything in my opinion, it is an outcome.
Secondly, full marks for identifying “renewables” as part of the problem but you make no mention of solar power, yet that is the thing which creates everything we know, all of it is created from the energy of the sun.
It seems to me we can’t take our eyes off capital, to look at anything that isn’t capital, because it has no accommodation in the conventional economy, we think it has no value, when really it is the source of all.
We are so busy worshiping the false god of capital, we can’t see the true creator of all things.
