I agree with all of your critical observations, except the one missing, that there is a way out, a way to abundance.

We see some clues by looking in other parts of the world, where there are some great things going on.

It is probably the end for centralised systems and authority, but that is the beginning of a new world of abundance.

The scarcity is something enforced on us by systems and establishments which were built for a purpose, but are now superseded.
