I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment, thanks for posting. I think we in other countries who wholeheartedly support the US in everything it does, maybe because we see it as some kind of descendent of ours, are equally to blame, maybe even more so. In a way the US could be thought of as acting out our own secret, deadly little fantasies, we get you to be the leader when secretly all along we were quietly, almost subconsciously pulling the strings.
Anyhow the chickens are coming home to roost now, we are almost at nuclear war, and the planet is both burning and flooding, all because of an energy con at the heart of all business for profit, which is how elites get and maintain power.
Now we are realising how unsustainable it all is, maybe we will start to see some sense, because if we don't, it's game over for all. I bet they don't really want to be elites any more when they realise how it has to end, if they can't change to not requiring privilege.
