I agree we have the technology but fission isn't any answer, because fossil fuels are always needed to build and decommission nuclear stations, (can't power nuclear from nuclear), so we can't break the death-grip on fossil fuels by nuclear. But we can with solar, and solar takes a fraction of the time and money to implement. I agree with Lannie that we will probably form communities. The most successful will be solar and hydrogen powered, grids not needed, they will produce food, hydrogen fuel, and money, all from sunlight, more than the community needs, enough to trade with others.
