I actually found this story a hilarious demo, of how far removed from reality the thinking of some folk can become, after they are disconnected from pretty much all sources of truth.
This is classic social bubble radicalisation of the kind real Nazis are most proud, their most spectacular use of modern technology, to subvert, without the subverters even realising they are subverting.
