Hi Dustin, the only reference I can give you on the orbital effects is an article of my own, done some time ago when I first started to analyse the climate problem. I hope you understand what I mean when I point out that there appears no investor funds for studies like this, hence the reason they do not appear much in academic literature. But please be assured I have some experience in orbital theory, indeed found it necessary in the past to produce software for modeling the orbits of satellites and the sun, working with someone very well known in that field, Dr TS Kelso.
