Here you expose that the medium Platform is itself implicitly involved simply by being profit driven, systemically, nobody sees any benefit (it won't improve platform profits), of putting in the capability in Medium android, the most likely common format of poorer people trying to interact in Medium, to put active links that can in turn be followed by other android users.
(a) It's impossible to post active links by Android
(b) It's impossible to select and copy text of responses by Android
This makes it impossible for Android users to follow your link, which looks like it might have been posted by Android.
Notice this capability was present previously in the older version of Medium Android of a few years ago.
The decision to create a new version of the perfectly fine original Medium Android App would have been made by folk with the best of heart, suggesting ways to employ some new people in the platform, using some excess money of previous profit, creating some new industry. Nobody would see the harm in updating the original app on this basis, of business being done simply to generate more profit (By the workers / businesses doing the update, where the new app is intended solely to increase profits for Medium Platform).
But look at the outcome - a platform which is now actively preventing poorer users, and likely victims of "Degrowth" (Genocide), from having a voice.
The inhuman profit monster strikes again where nobody realises it.
