The energy in the profits that Sergei has to have made, had to come from somewhere, since money is energy, always. There are two places we currently get energy from. One is the sun, our local star, and the other is Earth. We don't monetise the energy that we get from the sun as stands, so Sergei's fortune has to have come at cost of energy taken from Earth.
This has to have pushed up the temperature on Earth by some degree.
The same goes for the fortunes of every "Brilliant" billionaire and millionaire.
Now we have a burning planet with that temperature rise.
None of them thinks they are responsible for this temperature increase, but the irony is that their response of trying to now make homes that might somehow be robust to the wrath of a planet in the death throes of energy starvation, just make it all the worse, and the reaction of folk like these "brilliant" billionaires, VC investors, who worship the "brilliant" billionaires, and the practice of profit, includes Geoengineering, which further strangles the planet of the energy that both we and nature need to use to cool the planet.
But more, these sun shields, by intentionally increasing the albedo of Earth, have to by definition also increase the solar pressure on Earth, which will result in an increase in that force, with no change to either gravity or centrifugal force, which, working toether with solar pressure, were perfectly balanced. This will result in a change in the Earth's trajectory around the sun, to no longer be in equilibrium, with the result that the trajectory will no longer be constant, it will be moving, outwards, away from the sun, with the gravitational pull of the sun decreasing as the square of the distance moved outwards.
We will no longer be in orbit.
The sun will be literally throwing us out of orbit, for a very simple reason; we never monetised the energy from it, which always came for free.
Instead of celebrating that energy, the currency of nature, gifted to us for free, the energy of all creation, by passing it on to others to use, such that they too might add value, unconditionally creating from it, by monetising it with our own energy currency, we put a shield up against it, denying it from all others that need it, all life that thrived on it.
What an insult, to the source that created everything we know.
We used the energy of Earth to maintain humanity, and in the end, all of nature on Earth in energy slave mode, scarifying the energy to all living beings not contributing to the energy profits made by the most aggressive in our society, who maintain the massive differential of their own energy supplies, relative to all others, to have the privelige of greater energy availability to them personally, than to other humans.
Those are the "Brilliant" billionaires.
Here we see greed, the same greed as has been at the root of slavery throughout the history of humanity, because it was always about energy, the currency of nature, that we still don't understand, ending with armageddon, hell on Earth.
This obviously biblical misunderstanding, and mismanagement of energy ends with the end of the planet burning in flames, whilst being pushed out from the sun in disgrace with us still on it, because we lost the ability to even create safe aircraft for flight on our planet, never mind off of it, again all for profit.
What we are finding, the hard way, is that not understanding energy is a cardinal crime, one we will pay for by the loss of all future possibilities for us as a species.
We were doomed from the start, because we appear to be created for that purpose alone, to abuse energy, continuously gathering it, maybe for the fortunes of some visiting but now absent higher intelligence, who created us for that purpose, who knows, that part is guesswork.
But the part that is plain to see, is that greed is an existential, biblical mistake, and the "Brilliant" billionaires seem to be at the heart of it.
In absence of any distinct superintelligence that might have been in control of us, we are a slave population, gathering energy for the purposes of an intelligence that exists only as an emergent property, the intelligence associated with us as a species, still all acting on the energy lie of profit, starving our planet of it, as we do one another by that same lie, lying to ourselves that we are not really doing it, it's nature, we are the victims of nature.
Sounds familiar?
Do you recognise this characteristic, to blame everyone else for something we are doing ourselves?
Of course you should, and you should know that this robs us, of any future at all as a successful species, one that lives in any kind of harmony with its environment, one that might have been accepted as a worthy member of any kind of "galactic federation", if there might exist such a thing.
This is why I find you expressing your dreams of what you think humanity might do in the future as something ludicrous now, given what we are seeing going on, on our planet right now.
Our kids already see no real future for them, unlike the future you and I thought we saw when we were their age, we had prospects, but they don't, and of course they see it's the fault of the preceding generations, to have left them in this predicament.
They see also the culling of kids in certain activities going on right now in certain places, and this confirms to them also they are screwed, with nothing changed.
We have to survive with one another, and with our planet first, before we can have any dreams of doing more than that.
Otherwise we will have nothing, no future at all.
Our real future starts when money is handed out for free, for the energy coming in, given to us for free.
Until that happens, we are screwed, they are screwed, we are all screwed. No point in trying to raise everyone's hopes that there will be any future, with things unchanged, us working in slave mode.
